Funny night at Steve Coogan show last night. Paul and Pauline were there, Tommy soxndale, Duncan thicket and the one and only Alan Partridge and his new iphone/wii glove technology (how strange), seem to work and have the crowd in stitches with usual mishaps that seem to follow Mr Partridge around. Generally a pretty good show, the in between acts were rather poor. You get a little insight into Steve coogans really life of drugs and strippers in song format which seemed to go down well. Good show 8/10

If it’s not the cane, it has to be push-ups. Students from ‘The Derby Moor Community Sports College’ where made to do push ups for arriving late to class. For enforcing this an unnamed teacher at the college as been put on suspension
The college officials have now launched a full scale enquiry and in a statement have said “priority is to ensure that students are happy to be in school.”
Ian Jennison, a representative for the National Union of Teachers, had this to add “It’s political correctness gone mad. The repercussions are quite far-reaching,” Jennison then went onto say. “If this man is sacked for this, teachers are not going to take kids on trips, if two kids are having a fight they won’t intervene, because they will be too worried.”
